Well let me just start by letting you all know im a 19 year old college kid....I saw on the TV about new orleans and i was with a kid from down the hall....we realized we needed to do something...we also realized we didnt have money to donate ourselves...so we did the next best thing and made a b-ball tournament and made people donate to play....well after a week and some days planing it happend today for 5hrs....we made alot of money that we are going to donate all of it to new orleans....Just trying to do my little part in our little world :p :p
 
Sometimes, people see an empty bucket and think, "It's to much. I can't help."

Others think that the solution must be a big splash and so they look for that and when it doesn't come they get discouraged.

And some realize that even a big bucket can be filled one drop at a time.
 
Well done on the collection, nice idea, like its been said, a lot of fun and everyone won :thumbup:

I see they need 40,000 more helpers. If I can get a cot and meals provided I'm willing to go down and lend a helping hand for a month. Does anyone know if they just want strong backs or are they looking for specific skills?
