I joined the bent clip club :(

I was at work and in a rush, got my clip snagged on some pallets of boxes and felt a tug, looked down and saw this. I was mad the rest of the day. Just got home and bent it back.

Guess I got to find a beater knife to carry at work since I almost lost this one if I havent looked down.

Or give up on pocket clips? I bought the clip insert for my small Sebenza recently, and I've been alternating between letting it float at the bottom of my pocket and using a horizontal sheath.

Ive thought about it but I dont like the way the knife feels when its loose in my pocket, it tends to turn horizontal and gets uncomfortable. After the clip incident, I had to carry it in the bottom of my pocket for the day and that was already enough for me.
Belt sheath is also out of the question also.

Can't let a stupid pocketclip deter you from carrying such a fine folder.

You need to ditch the clip and get a nice belt sheath! Or let it roll around in the bottom of your pocket.

I exclusively use a belt sheath, I alternate between a snap closure sheath from Paul Long (sheathmaker) and a Vess leatherworks one.

I roll around, rub up against things and squeeze through tight spaces as an Electrician and have yet to even be worried about losing my Sebenza.

Well nevermind then, lol, I guess I should have read your post right above mine.

Have you tried it without the clip on? Makes it much more comfortable in the pocket.

I've carried other knives without the clip (including SAKs) and they still feel uncomfortable in my pocket. I think the main thing is that I carry my knives in my front right pocket which also has my money clip/wallet, chapstick, loose change and sometimes my keys that are on a dangler so its already a full house in there. Adding any type of knife down there would simply add a bulge too much for comfort.

Im going to continue carrying my Zaan, I just need to be more careful around obstacles.
