It finally happened. I have officially lost my Spyderco virginity, and it's goooood!

Just rec'd a nice little Centofante 4 on trade, and I have to say, it's a great knife.

Just had to share my happiness.....

congrats, i've been meaning to pick up a centofante 3 at some point. Spydies are quite addictive, they have so many neat models i know i just want to keep grabbing more of them.

The Centofante 3 and 4 are excellent designs. Good choice for a first Spydie. It won't be your last.

Been collecting blades for decades and I've never owned a Spyderco.....

Untill a few days ago that is. Finally got the urge after hearing about what a great deal the Persistence was, then while shopping for one the Military caght my eye so I had to get that one too!

...gotta say that the Mil is nice but I'm even more impressed by the Persistence, very nice, has steel liners, solid lock up, blade took a great edge with little work, and such smooth action opening and closing! - for a hundred dollars more I wish my Mil was as smooth!

I interpret this as two seperate statements. Either, you lost your virginity to a Spyderco employee or you are a Spyderco employee and you just lost your virginity.

And you got your first Centofante in trade.

Spydercos are fantastic folders and like so many have repeated in the past, you just have to own and use one to really know why.
