So I've never really understood the hype surrounding the Spyderco Paramilitary 2. I've read countless reviews over this specific EDC blade, and finally decided to give it a try. I figured I could always sell it if I didn't like it.
Today it arrived in the mail; black G10 with a satin blade. I bought it used, and it was quite dirty. I disassembled it, gave it a nice cleaning, and applied some new grease on the washers. After I reassembled it, I couldn't help but admire how sexy the knife is. Spyderco really hit a home run with the PM2.
I also ordered a 4th gen Hinderer XM-18 3.5" spanto, which will be here on Monday. I've decided that if the Hinderer isn't everything I expect it to be, I'm going to resell it and buy one of the smurf PM2's with M390.
Usually, I don't feel the need to write any type of "review" over new blades I receive. However, I am definitely wow'd by the PM2...I've never been so impressed with an affordable knife. I used to question why people bought 5+ PM2's. Well, now I get it. I want more. It's like a more affordable Sebenza addiction.
