my M9LE,the only one in China,have to leave me.it have been sent back to US

yesterday ,i checked the post website,they said the item have come into my

city's foreign mail exchange center,according to tradition,i would get it

next day.but the web info didn't update until today ,it show my item have come

into local customs.this info mean that my knife have been detained by

customs.As you know,Importting blade to China is illegal ,Enforcement Dept

will check the imported item ,if they consider sth problematic,they will

notice the litigant to customhouse,they will ask u to open the box publicly.so

i have to drive 65KM to customs and open the box today,what a beautiful

knife!!!!!!!!!!!but i can't get it even then i was touching it. what a

tragedy it is!!!!!!!!!!.They check the knife,then they say this is lethal weapon,and

it would be transfered to public security administration to identify whether it

is lethal weapon.i think they must want to confiscate it,i have to find solution ASAP,i audaciously come into their chief's office and tell him it is my inaccuracy,TO strengthen control of imported item is his duty,but this knife is not lethal weapon ,it is only my camping tool,i hope he free my item generously,he watch me for a while,then he say he will contact public security administation.After a phone call ,he say they couldn't free it,but they can send it back to US,they think this is the best solution.The chief ask me why i purchase knife from US,it is too expensive and dangerous ,they say China also manufacture excellent knife that even can cut steel down.:((( .Since The customs wouldn't want to give in ,i have to accept their conditon.i subscribed a send-back statement,then i have to leaveCustoms,leaved my lovey M9LE!
What a tragedy it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!what a absurd regulations it is!!!
 
In the United States they (the government) control so many things and we still call it 'Freedom', I can't imagine living under the control of the government in China. Hopefully, someday, the world will change and you will be able to trade freely for items, such as knives like the M9LE, made outside of China. Until then enjoy the Busse products you do have and stay strong.
 
Oh man, that is a tragedy. The M9LE is one of the greatest blades ever.

That is just plain cruel. They really should have let it in because that knife is a pure camper and not even close to a lethal weapon. I am really sorry to hear about that. I wish you luck on the future purchases and be careful of what you buy for import into China. Maybe next time you can say that it is a special gift for one of your relatives who is really into camping. They might understand why you spen so much money to get a knife from US.
 
I'm sorry to hear this, I feel your pain. However, they didn't confiscate it, so you should get some money back from the Swamp. And look on the bright side, you have a cute kid, good food and an HG55.:cool::thumbup:

baby, come on, i am not teasing at you. i just expressed my admiration to you that you have extra good luck that more than others.
forget it, you just pay some shipping free, not the big tragic!
but , i wanta say some to you , it is your fault, m9 is a big knife, if the stuff of customs found it, there is no doubt of that they wll not leting the knive pass!!!!
 
The customs stuffs told me due to last year's Olympic games and present swine flu,they enhenced control of imported items.i purchased ontario RTAK,i think it is larger than M9LE,it had also been seized by customs,but at last ,they gave it to me.Miracle!!!!

customhouse and say some to offical that it was a camping tool!!!!:D

i will buy 2 kantanas， then i will tell jerry to hinge these kantanas,i will tell customs stuffs it is only a big scissors
 
Maybe it's just me, but I see a plot for a movie:

A brave warrior, torn apart from his knife, his true love, embrarks on a journey to travel the oceans to a distant land. He starts a new life, enduring endless turmoil and hardship only to persevere. And after his endless search, in the twilight of his life, and only by the grace of God and destiny, this nobleman is reunited with his beloved blade.
 
And then they wonder why good, upstanding citizens start to burn down government buildings !!!!!!!!! @ least they didn't try to hold you *criminally* responsible. And all for a knife,,,,,,,, totally sucks....I feel your pain !!!!!!
 
Well what do you guys expect from a communist regime...
Sad, but I just hope things don't become like that in the US and Canada one day.
