ditto -- When Chris got his first khukuri I had to talk to his mom and get her okay for the purchase. Today he is a fine young man and has maybe 40 khukuris. Time goes by.

Here's a quick little story about, er, "maturing". Yesterday for PT, after group calisthenics, me and a buddy decided to go for a run on the tank trail (not much tank traffic around here lately). After the run he says, "man, we must have a high pollen count or something, I was huffing and puffing pretty hard coming up that last hill". I said, "partner, that wasn't pollen had you breathing hard, that was Father Time's hand on your shoulder". He laughed and said, "oh yeah, well I bet his hand was pushing down pretty hard on your shoulder old man". I said, "hand hell, I was giving him a piggy back ride".

That is pretty funny Sarge!!! Boy I'm 1/4 century old now! Doesn't that sound old! :rolleyes: :D Thanks for the well wishes guys, I appreciate them very much!
My wife got me a book on the Corvette called "Corvette:50 years" It is about 3 inches thick and is the Bible of the Corvette! One day I'll have the real thing but for now the Camaro will have to do!
She also got me the 1st season DVD collection "The Shield" which is a great T.V. show about a bad bunch of cops! Check it out on FX on Tuesday nights!
 
By the time you read this it will be past your birthday but, I had to get this in under the wire.
I seem to get on the net so late that most of the forum has gone to bed by the time I get on.
