hi today I decided to go on "cheap mode" but not "unarmed"
Svord knife is a great cutter.

pole or stick use, put it between your parang and body and as backrest help

The peasant knife is a great utility knife. It's interesting to see what colors people choose. I went with the yellow myself.

I've wanted a svord since I saw them, I just don't like folders that much anymore.

The Peasant knife to me is halfway between a fixed blade and a folder. It is a very strong and simple knife.

I am constantly in "cheap mode."

I like blaze color for my littel gadchets to find them easier in the ground ;-)
My favorite is blue but when I bought the svord it was not avaible

faca, that's good advice. I keep a pair of deerskin gloves in my pack for just that reason.

yes you are right but to carry a katana in my daypack is out of my likes lol ;-)

well , this , and its just fun to swing a lump or razor sharp steel around with the excuse youre doing something useful .
Great post , them blackberries are making me seriously wish winter was long over here allready .
