Went to Cabelas. (We'll that in itself is a good day.)

Then I walked to the knife section, as every knifenut should; and guess who was there? Chuck Buck.

Then guess who I met? Chuck Buck. Mentioned Bladeforums, and he stated that a few of his folks were active here. Sorry, but forgot exactly whom it was.

Then got to see Chuck, autographing some of his products.

Then I got a Buck 110.... Autographed by Chuck.

And I forgot the lady's name that was there also, but she was an absolute gem. Thanks for the pin also.

Today was a good day.
 
Great.....Cabela is a great mail order source for me but there are none in NY.....Great that you met CB !!!
 
Congratz Saunterer, nice looking knife. I met C. Buck last weekend when he was at the local Cabela's. He's a really nice guy.

Did you pick up any other knives while you were there?
 
Great pictures. I met him at the Cabela's in Mich last weekend. He does get around. Neat how he etches the knives.

Sweet,i would lov to have a 110 with his autograph,but i'm quite sure he isn't coming to Canada anytime soon.lol.I should ask Joe Houser if i could get it sent in to be cleaned up and signed by Chuck,I wouldn't mind paying outta my pocket at all.
 
Lady was probably Sarah Buck!!! You should have gotten her to autograph one also. Or her and Chuck both autograph one. I messed up in Houston not getting Sarah and CJ to both autograph one when they were here.

Tom, there are plans to put one in East Hartford Connecticut in the near future, possibly within the next few years. Not in New York, but not that far away. It's expected to be a major tourist attraction for the area, and everyone except Eddie Perez (the Mayor of Hartford) is Cabela's is coming. Perez says it'll cause more gun violence in Hartford:rolleyes:
