Today was awesome....

I took my two and a half year old out on some trails for the first time

First we feed some ducks and geese that were in one of the ponds at the park.

This guy was curious as to what we were doing

Then is was time for us to do some light hiking.

It was a great day to say the least. I have been waiting for this day for some time now. He has hip dysplasia so I have been worried that he would not enjoy walking on the uneven terrain. But he had a blast and stomped over everything that we came upon. So tomarrow I hope to take him out to some better trails with more to see.

I am lucky that I don't have to work on the weekends so no need to call in sick.
Lane already has about five little tiny toothpick knives that I have bought him for different occasions.
And the salami and beer where waiting for me when I got home:thumbup:

sounds like good times by all. i remember the first knife i got from my pops and its got alot of memories. although it did take alot of convincing to get him to buy me a fixed blade at the age of 10
