Nice pics! I love my ZT560 too, so much that I ended up selling my hinderers after using it. How do you like the Rat trap? Wish busse or busse kin made another folder...

Love the trap. Smooth action. Tight lockup. No blade wiggle. Big handle. Unfortunately since its so rare its gonna be a Queen. The 560 is gonna be my EDC

Yeah , overall a really good day. One troubling PM about a inbound blade issue is the only sour part of my day so far.

hmmm. i've been thinking about getting a 560 for a while. i had a 300, but i went back to carrying my rat trap after a while. i liked how slim and light it was. the 300 was terrible in those regards. how does the 560 compare?

The 0560 is very light due to the heavily milled liner and Ti lock face and although it is as big as the 0300, it feels much smaller in the pocket.
The total thickness (center to center from Ti side to G-10 side) matches the 0550 and probably the 0300, but it is contoured, making it feel much slimmer.
Most times I carry it, I forget that it's there. I also carry my 0350 on occasion, and I really don't notice the difference. It is definitely my favorite knife at the moment. I'll have an XM-18 3.5" in October, so we'll see if I like that better.
I would definitely recommend getting one! It is the most comfortable and usable folder that I have ever used, deploys like butter with the KVT system and is easy to carry for such a large knife.

As for the 0560, it's a very good folder. Were so difficult to source not too long ago. Now, a few larger on-line retailers can keep them in stock for a couple days, not just couple minutes.
I was on a pre-order alert list for 0561. Logged onto the sellers site 5 minutes after the "available" message hit my inbox...all 20-25 were gone. Discovered that via e-mails direct to the seller.
They ares slightly bigger than they look (most extra length is in the handle) and are surprisingly light for their size. Flip with ease and I have no big negatives to add. Save for wishing the skeletonized liner was Ti and not stainless.
Just a good folder. Not completely accurate or fair to compare them with XMs as many do. The feel is different in most every way, blade shape, steel used and overall size differ too. The 0560 / 0561 is more the size of the XM24 than the 3.5" XM18.
I'm hoping to someday add a Rat Trap to my collection. That's one I have held, but never owned.

it's awesome! I sold my 0350 because the 0560 was lighter. I haven't had or held a better folder.

Nice blades mate...!! I just received a ZT0350 I bought while I was away with work. Also have a 301, wish I had bought more of them before the import laws changed here....!!!
