So for day one and my first ever of blade show, I came away with this. A custom by Tom Krein. Cpm 3v, black micarta handles. Ive already gotten to use it to baton some wood tonight while camping and its just awesome. I love my esee 3 but it just got replaced. Ill write a review when the trip is over but for now here are some quick pics from earlier today.

Nice. Love the subdued finishes and the shape of the leading edge on the scales. Good snag.

Congratulations. A clean, functional, eye pleasing design - and CPM 3V no less. I like it. Have fun. Mike

that one of the APBTs?

Yes??? I'm not too familiar with his knives. Actually, i bought it the last 30 minutes before they closed up shop so I forgot to ask him if he had a name for it, the story behind his logo, and what the symbol was on the knife. I plan on finding out more when i go back today.

check out the K9 knives forum here for some backstory; it's more of an archive at this point. great score, though, you lucky SOB.

Very nice score! That is what I would have went for if I had been able to attend. I look forward to your review! I believe this is the name for that model: K9 American Pit Bull Terrier in 3V :).

Very nice blade. Love that blade shape too. I wish I could have gone to Blade this year. So many cool makers there. Maybe next year haha

Heres my second day purchase. The Nessmuck by Patrick Doyle in cpm 3v. I'm super excited about this one as I was looking for a small edc fixed blade to may or may not replace my folder from time to time. I'm sure some of you already know him here on BF but hes a really cool guy who is semi-new so I'm proud to support him. Cant wait to use this tonight back at the camp site. As always a review will come soon.

that's gorgeous. can we get a spine shot? I want a better look at those liners.

Here ya go. I love the handles on these. The black and yellow are a great combination and the grind pattern he chose for this one makes for a pretty good grip. Some of his others were too slick for me but they were still nice. The yellow liner is pretty thin but i like it.
