We were hit with a pretty significant DDoS attack that required implementation of new mitigation services. Once they were in place, we were able to come back up online.

Our hosting provider stated that prior to our servers being isolated, we were bringing down their entire network. :) Somebody maaaaaaaaaaaad.....

Anyhow, we're up and running again. Expect some weirdness.

Thanks for the update. And for all the work you put in to provide us with a play place.

Thanks for getting this big problem fixed for us, Spark!:thumbup:

It seems that I cannot send a PM. I'm not sure if it's related to today's issue or not.

Thank you for all of your hard work in dealing with all of the various headaches in order to keep this awesome site up and running and first class!

I didn't know what to do for awhile. I thought life as I knew it was over... :D

BUMMER!!! Web view is working but TapATalk is not, at least for me. I've deleted it and reinstalled (iPhone) three times.

This app is the only way I know of getting push notifications of new exchange listings. I feel like I am flying blind.

Is there a way to get push notifications from a sub forum in web view?

And what's the status of TapATalk?

Mike

Tapatalk works for me, but nothing is updating. None of the alerts for subscribed threads are working.

I was receiving the database error earlier when attempting to send an email. The strange thing is I clicked on the Settings link above and noticed that I had 3 new/unread PM's. They all happened to be the same, as it looked as if the sender also received the database error and attempted to resend a couple of more times.

When I attempted to reply I was greeted with the error page again - unsure if the message was sent or the 3 PM's I received happened to be at a time when it went through without issue. However, I received a reply to that PM as well.

It would appear that even though the error page comes up when sending a PM, that PM's are going through. Notifications are not being sent by email from what I can tell, nor is there any indication on the Notifications/Private Messages portion of the menus above. But when clicking the Settings link, these can be viewed if there are any new notifications pending.

I've experienced the same moshow9. Same with posting a message...goes to error page but then I see the message did post.

I did figure this one out using my browser subscriptions feature. So do get the push notices but my browser has to be open to follow it. Better than nothing. I suspect it's going to be a while before things get back to normal.

Well I'm glad you've got the forum back up and running. Sorry to hear that the site was attacked. I certainly appreciate the work you do to provide this site.

I've been getting "database error" every time I try to send a PM -- I'm trying to respond to some PM's that are in my inbox for the past 3 days... What's weird is I seem to be able to receive PM's, just not able to send.

??

I am aware of the tapatalk and pm sending issues. I'm working on the problems.

Thank you Spark I wasn't by any means trying to give BF a hard time, I just wanted to annotate my issue. I have been reading through the "Database Error" threads recently and know/understand there are technical difficulties.

Thanks for the great service and moderating this forum!

TapATalk push notifications are working again. I've not tried PM.
