Today's hike with the Junglas

I went on a hike today with my family. It was raining most of the day and was a little difficult to get a fire going.

Found some fat wood and decided this was a job for my Junglas.

After that, the fire was a roaring blaze, even despite the rain.
 
Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos, you can almost feel what is was like out there. I wish I could stuff like this more often, but I'm stuck to my desk...

cool pics! that's a good lookin boy. my 4 yr old has been helping me light the fireplace
 
What great pics, thanks for sharing! That's absolutely great that you had a chance to get out there with your son, he will NEVER forget those times out there. I still remember every single outing with my family like it happened yesterday. That close up pic of of the Junglas chopping through some wood was a great pic.
 
I love to see kids outdoors. Thanks for sharing. Pretty soon I will be taking my little nephew with us hunting, it will be a great time :thumbup:

Really nice pics, thanks for sharing your hike with us. I love my Junglas too, done a load of brush & sapling clearing with it this past summer. :thumbup:

Always wondered, how many babies would it take to make a liter of oil...
