Decided I wanted to go fishing today. We've gotten a lot of rain here in new england lately, so today was the first day in a while where the weather was tolerable. Grabbed my fishing pole and set off down through the woods to my fishing spot. No pictures of fishing, but snapped a few on the way. The woods were well flooded, and over the last week or two the plants on the floor grew up so big i could not even judge where the ground was. Almost looked like i had no idea where i was, and i've traveled these woods for over 6 years. The last few years of storms have transformed the woods each and every time they hit. Trees down, landscape changed, run off's of little streams, etc.

The first picture is of a stream that usually has just a skimming of water flowing through it, normally you can step lightly with shoes and not get a wet foot, The outlet to the right of the picture is usually how wide it is, but it's flowing strong as of right now
The second and third picture are pretty self explanatory
I flipped over a rotten tree trunk and this little guy is what was under it. I have no idea what it is specifically, just a caterpillar.
The last picture is of what is now a stream after all this rain, for 90% of the year it's just a bed of rocks, no water. It was flowing very steady today.
