Finally got around to making a sheath for my B11 today, long over due!
It's a dangler that can be detached from the belt and put on my pack with the molle clips. Tried two different piggybacks. First with the new HogMuck, looks cool, IMHO, but the Swampwarden will most likely be on permantly.
Then the NMSFNO, came with a Buy Brown sheath that I like very much, so I added on a moss green Scrapivore. Or the orange may get to ride along on occasion. it's set up as a cross draw. I usually carry knives on the left, to leave room for a sidearm. The B11 dangler rides low enough to not be a problem.
Then came a crossdraw for the HogMuk.

Some great set ups there!

I had about 700 set aside to buy kydex making gear, with presses, rivet arbor presses, etc. I blew it on other toys, and have regretted it for years (that was 10 years ago).

Now I just make leather sheaths with very basic tools.

i'll second the crossdraw, and i would be proud to carry any of them. very nice work on those.

All of your sheath's are really nice, but I especially like the one you made for your Muk. Well done...

Great looking kydex and knives. I really dig the beltloop on the crossdraw Muk sheath.

looking good my friend

Thanks for the encouraging words, Hogs. Still an amatuer as evidenced by how much time it can take to make something and be satisfied. I hold much appreciation for the quality of work by our real sheath makers here. Either they are really good or thier not making any money for thier time. :D

I'm new to Kydex. I want to make some sheaths. How did you melt it to take the shape of your knives ? Where is the best prices obtained for Kydex and Rivets ? I have a heat gun, will this do? I like your green sheaths, very nicely done! Thanks for your help!

Very nice indeed! I like that drop-loop rig for the B-11. Keep up the good work!
