Just got my first knife from Nemesis knives (who I hadn't heard of until joining this forum), the MANX NK-15B. It is a seriously awesome knife for around $100. The blade is VG-10 and has a Spyderco-esque black finish (that nice smooth, matte finish). Locks up tight. I think the handle looks pretty freakin' awesome for the price. Only thing I have reservations on is the thumb disk. I've never owned a knife like this its quite different than a flipper or thumb stud. Anyone else have any thoughts on this knife?

Also got a nice star key set from Bondhus to replace my Titan set.

Nothing better than hearing the UPS truck pull up!

Great looking knife, don't know much about Nemesis Knives but it looks solid.

I really dig that blade shape!

I have always had my eye on that knife since I started collecting early this year. 100 bucks for a vg10 ti framelock with a layer of carbon fiber. I think I'll be buying this next after seeing this thread!

I almost bought one of those . looks awesome .Are you able to flick it open with the thumb disc?Is the thumb disc that much different than a thumb stud after you get use to it? Please keep us updated on how it holds up.

Yes you can flick it open the action is very smooth it just takes a few minutes to get used to the feel of the thumb disc. Its actually not that different in function, just appearance and feel. You can also flip this knife open with momentum quite easily by just flicking your wrist down with the blade facing down, and that is with the pivot quite tight and no oil. This knife is awesome :D

Nice looking knife, the blade shape looks perfect to be a box opener. It looks like you can use the tip to drag against what you are cutting.

Here's another photo. It's very similar in size to a Kershaw Skyline, but the MANX weighs 18.8 grams more.

No doubt! Looks like a great deal.

Paso Robles eh? Not too far away, might have to go check them out someday.

Nice looking knife.

You'll like a disc opener.... :D

The disc is nice just got to break this MANX in a bit. The ball bearing sticks very deep when it is closed, takes a relatively deliberate amount of force to overcome the bearing, but once you do its like butter.

This knife is an example of an excellent product, where being Made in China actually increases its value. It also comes in a very simple box, which helps Nemesis knives cut costs and provide a better end product.

This might actually be my favorite knife already.

Oh and it has sweet blue spacers...

Does it feelas small as the skyline in hand? I don't own a skyline(please don't kick me off the forum.haha)so maybe it is bigger than I recall.

It feels a bit larger and more substantial due to better materials and handle geometry. Blade shape is awesome easy to sharpen.

Thank you for posting these pictures TL.

I plan on putting this one the "to get" list!

I finally picked one of these up.

Overall, I really like it and it will see a lot of EDC use.

Things to nitpick:

The thumb disk doesn't have any knurling on it, so it is a bit slippery. (I may end up fixing this later on.)

The blade has a rougher satin finish compared to most VG-10 that I have (e.g. several Spydercos).

In fact it reminds me of the satin finish used on a lot of the Boker Plus line that uses 440C.

Thanks for posting. I've heard the Nemesis name thrown around a bit, however I haven't given them a hard look. Seeing as the blade steel is VG-10 and it's got a bit of Carbon Fiber, while sporting a framelock and the price tag around 100 bucks I'm willing to bet they've got a contender.
