This mornings official snow fall measured with my Buck-lite and still coming down.

Snow is actually touching the handle. Would that be pivot pin deep? DM

Hey, guys I like it... You had your coffee this morning. Before it's over I maybe measuring with a model 120. Thanks gents, DM

At least you're measuring with just a warm shirt on, here you would be measuring with an Arctic parka on. 5 degrees with coffee, 18 degrees with a wind chill making it feel like 9 degrees at lunch.

Local razor sharp weatherman desert Dave on location outstanding in his field to bring us the cutting edge report. More of a challenge to post a picture of the forecast!

Haven't got any here yet, I don't miss the stuff, but looking forward to my two year old daughter playing in it.

gsea, thanks. Your area is cold.
Tony, if I get the chance I'll be out trying. Thanks, DM

Oregon, I really like your Avatar. You bring a Martian invasion with your posts. It's been a long while but I remember that movie. Thanks.
Scott, make us a picture when she does.
Gedd, thanks. Stay warm gents. DM

It's sleeting now and more snow is in our forecast. I've got plenty of wood cut and stacked in the dry as reserve. The Colonel wouldn't like his daughter to get cold. Thanks for your comment fish. DM

I'm jealous... The only thing piling up here is the starling droppings. Dad gum birds are a menace!

Send some of that this way, please.

Let me guess you don't know how to set the date and time on your VCR either.

Still flashing *12:00* *12:00* *12:00* after all these years?

:D

fatcity, thank you. But I do. However, every time we change batteries it needs to be reset. Which is weekly. So, I just leave it. I was hoping you would enjoy the picture. DM

Now gone, but the avatar was Gort the robot from the 1951 movie The Day The Earth Stood Still. I used it on the last SPS when ITE showed his beautiful and rare brass 111. It made the earth stand still for me. I am that in to it. No kidding. Really. Not kidding in the least. I have that kind of focus/blindness that I see nothing else and everything else stops. Like in that movie from the Cold War days. Ahhhhhh I've got it bad. I know. Yup. But I am not the only one. Nope not the only one. There are others. You know who you are. When is your local show?

Leesa and I remember that movie. As small children it terrified us. Plus, the Colonel was busy thru the Cold War Era. She recalls. Our next show is in February 20. DM
