Hey I used to use those Gerber epoxy cups all the time too! Great for small parts with the lid that's fits well.
Lovin those menuki, hell drill a hole in the end of one and I'll throw it on my keys!
It all looks like progress!!!

Thanks! Yeah those baby food containers are awesome! I bought a sleeve of plastic condiment cups for a few bucks and they are great too... USAKM had them I think.
Cool on the menuki, that was a thought for sure! ...also

high end fishing lures anyone?
Those are looking great and I can tell you spend a lots of energy on them!!! Great stuff Daniel.
Thanks! I think all of the menukis were anodized several times before I was happy with the colors... I'm spending a lot of time on everything and really pushing hard to get the finishes I want... anodizing, acid etching, stonewashing, etc...
Wow Daniel. Things look great!
Thanks!

I'm having fun and staying very busy!
I want that blue kitchen knife

!! What a clean piece it's gonna be. It would go to a good home and used.

Thanks! I promised you guys I'd be making some kitchen knives this year and it's on! Yesterday afternoon 8' of .93" 52100 came in for more!
I'm going to grind the scales on the two Chef's knives today, the epoxy has cured now! They feature a hand rubbed finish and ultralight overbuilt construction. I always use mechanical fasteners along with epoxy to attach my scales and these are tube riveted! My next ones may have Corby bolts...
Those blacked carbon pieces look almost unreal, I am visiting your website now to see more. Good job Daniel!
Much appreciated! The .360" one is nearly pure black and the longer one in 01 shows the differential hardening with some interesting activity.
Love the menukis, too. Second the request for key chain or bottle openers with that finish and texture.
Thanks, sounds cool! I think I'll use this finish more often!
Menukis are awesome! Put a keychain hole on one end and a sharp edge on the other, add a tiny Kydex sheath and the DFK Keychain Menuki Cutter is born! Kitchen knives look great too! Lots of temptation on here...
Awesome! Thanks too!
I'm still working on the keychain knife design, I have a few new designs I'd like to make in Ti and some I'd like to revisit.
