Lots of snow! The shop almost looks covered here...

Kiln Two - Heating up to 1800, once the keychain tools hit 1500 they go right into the 1800F kiln

There is a bit of snow in the HT Shop today... at least the plates for the plate quench stay cool!

I'm sure you get sick of it around October, but I'd KILL for that much snow on a regular basis.

There's a short window in Philadelphia before the snow becomes blackened, melting heaps in the gutter, when it's absolutely magic. Think "Omega Man" or "I Am Legend", only without the roving bands of mutants. An enormous city of 4 million is dead silent, nearly motionless, and pure white.

It is a lot of fun on the years when I have a mountain pass, lol! We need the snow for ground water though, gotta keep the well going.

I know what you mean on the fresh snow, it is the coolest!

We have another 4 inches or so here but it looks like the storm has passed.

By the way everything made it through heat teat nicely! I still have a fair bit of grinding, signature etching, acidwashing and more to go but these are close! :D

I'm alternating between these and finishing some more customs up at the moment. Today I finally did my homework and ordered the rest of the gear for my compressor... hopefully I'll be blasting soon!
