Here's a big one in .25"+ thick Titanium. Bayonet Grind, Coffin Handle

I just rounded the spines on this group.

Ti Backpacker Sheaths! ...and a few more

There are loads of Turkeys around the area.

Local pic... I used to live right around the corner. This area was closed for years due to archaeological work in the area, a mummy was found around here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Durango_Rock_Shelters_Archeology_Site

Possible cliff dwelling? This is part of the same site.

...just down the road. We were driving around and it started snowing out of the blue.

Some beautiful scenery pics.

What's the Bayonet grind? That thing looks wicked already, haha.

Thanks! That's the cool thing about this area... great scenery!

Bayonet grind - it's a big one (13" I'd guess) and chisel ground with an unsharpened swedge. It will have a coffin shaped handle... possibly carbon fiber with white G10 liners. It's a big, nasty dagger... like a bayonet but no gun attachment.

must see miore of the bayonet "{DAERGTert

fat fingers today apparnetly. jezus.

I'll get some more pics... the handle still has a bit to go but is looking good! coffin-ish shape

fat fingers - I've been grinding so much I can hardly make a fist... swollen hands!

"This is my bayonet with optional gun attachment."

I figure with this one no gun is needed. :D

PICS!!!!!!!! I NEEeeEeeeeeD Pics! Ahhhhhhhh, I'm better now.... Cool stuff all around,Daniel! I think the coffin handle on the bayonet was the perfect choice!

Sweet daga! That's dead on for the US M3 fighting knife blade grind! But the originals are only 1/8" thick.

Either coffin or dog bone will look good to me, but it's gonna be schweet!

That bayonet is SICK!!! Killer grinds on that badboy!

Awesome pix as usual Dan!

OK, I'm gonna be that guy and bump this.

Whatever happened to that coffin-handled one? Pics! :D

I'm age hardening the Titanium. :D

I need to get to it after I take care of some more business, it will likely have carbon fiber scales with white liners and black micarta pins.
