Man I was stoked today. Have been acquiring several ESEEs and this week was no exception. At about 4:15 this afternoon my new Izula II & kit arrived along with my new Fallkniven F1. Ready to hit the woods for a camping weekend. Wow is all I can say about the Fallkniven. Wishing I wasn't so wishy-washy about it for so long but also really glad you guys did talk me on over the fence to purchase it. Really incredibly sharp and great feel to it. On to the theft story:

After showing my new knives off to my wife who happened to be in town today with me, she played with both for a few minutes. She handed me back the Fallkniven and said "That's a really nice knife!" After about 10 minutes of playing further with the Izula II and looking the kit over, she placed it all in her purse and cranked up the truck to head home. I asked what she thought of the Izula II and she responded by saying "What Izula II? I suggest if you like them you should order you one. You'll never see this one again unless its from a distance."

So I had my Izula II for less than an hour before it was stolen. Hope to have me one in by mid week next week. I'll let you all know what I think of it after I actually have my own now, lol.

Saw that one coming. I've been there a few times myself, thankfully my wife and I have pretty different tastes in knives. Every once in awhile I'll get a knife that I pick specifically for her, tell her "hey honey I got a new knife, check it out" and when she likes it I'll be like "oh well you can go ahead and have this one". Makes me look good.

When I saw the title I was thinking, poor guy that must suck. But at least you got to hold it and take in that new knife smell before the wife stole it from you, and she even gave you the green light to buy another. Maybe you should order 2 knives this time around as well just in case one is stolen again, I heard that some thief's will follow you home...

Naw, lol, I told her after I get the whole line of ESEEs in I'd let her pick which one she likes best. She just decided to go ahead and pick one before I had the whole line up.

I will order a new one this weekend plus the ESEE 6. Might have to look at some more fallknivens as well after playing with this one I got in today.

You will love the Esee 6.

My wife has never been a knife lover (she puts steak knives, etc. in the dishwasher!!!). However, I recently showed her several Mora's of different sizes and put them in the kitchen knife drawer. She has decided that she really likes them and she leaves them out for me to clean instead of putting them in the dishwasher. I suspect that she may become a thief in the near future so I am keeping my Esee's, Beckers, Mora's, etc. locked up in the gun safe.

Yup I am pretty impressed with those Moras as well. Super knife for the cost for sure. I usually don't EDC or backpack them but there is one in every tacklebox, camping box and a few in the kitchen drawer around here.
