Is the standard length of the UBE 12"?? I thought they were longer. I looked, 18-20" and 2.5lbs yes....

Original, I think that someone was asking about a stubby version of the UBE several months back. They said that the shape of the UBE looked really useful, but the size was way too big for practical use. I have to agree with them there. I would love one of these, but I am overspent for a little bit.

Wow, still 2 left. Everyone must be playing catch up on the bills after Christmas. Personally, it seems like I'm always playing catch up on the bills. Those are really beautiful though. I like the smaller khuks, so the full sized UBE never really grabbed my attention. These are just about perfect.

Quick question: Do you guys ever pronounce "UBE" as its own word? I find myself saying, "I wish I had an 'Oobee'," instead of using the full name.

That being said, I wish I had an UBE. Sadly, I don't have the funds at the moment. Great knives!
