Another beauty by the Sarge.

I'd like to see Bura make more of those 18" Tin Chirra's.

Yes, it is. But what we want to know is, did you shark it already? ;)

Nope, I like it, but I am not going to jump on it. I purchased a new GPS unit last night and a steripen with a solar charger from REI with their big annual sale. So I'm gonna try to be good.

I got the TIn Chirra on 4/23. I immediately fed it a San Francisco phone book. My third HI in 2 weeks since I joined. I have been reading the archives for the past two weeks, catching up. It has been great hanging out with you guys each day! Since I retired from the Army last year I've just been wandering around. 1SG Infantry

Welcome Lee...

be vewy vewy caweful. Three in 2 weeks is ...ah... indicative of Obsessive Compulsive Khukuri EmailOrder. There is no self-help group, just a bunch of enablers.:)

Thank you. I am nervous. I have another on special order also. I hope I can slow down for awhile. I won't promise.

Too late, he done caught HIKV (Himalayan Imports Khukuri Virus). The only cure (And that is not a foolproof cure, it usually only slows it down) is an overdrawn bank account.:D:D:p

It didnt matter how much I prepared. The HIKV pounces like a tiger, then comes the warm, happy feeling. Trying not to fall asleep with one unsheathed while sharpening and waxing.

Who can resist?

Who would want to?

I find absolutely nothing wrong with having three khuks that are almost identical.

I mean...I could spend my money gambling, collecting beanie babies or smoking crack.

I think HIKV isn't that bad of an ailment. :D

Falling asleep with an unsheathed kukri is just plain asking for stitches on some part of your anatomy! :grumpy: :p
When I did that I was barefooted and very, very, fortunate/lucky/under-protection-of-karma to keep my toes and only had a few stitches in one toe! :o

It really is strange. If I'm not holding one of the HI's, it seems I have to keep one in sight so I can glance over at it occasionally. The rest of my tools are feeling left out. I'm even thinking of getting rid of some stuff at the gunshow this weekend. These thoughts would have never happened if I didnt have a virus or something. It sorta feels good?
