I love the tip design on these. Something about the way light plays on it is just fantastic

IF only the guard was thicker...That thin disc of brass holds back what could be one of HIs' perfect knives. (IMO)

Yet for me they and their brown counterparts beat boring black any day of the week on non-traditional blades.

However, I wouldn't like to see them on a BAS, WWII or M43!
 
I would have that in an instant if it would get through South Korean customs. But it can't. I'm shedding tears over here.

That "red" looks to me like British Tan - which would be perfect for a BAS, etc. :D

I like the black too, but I looove the brown scabbards that pop up on occassion. :thumbup:
 
Seriously, if HI would offer that standard, I would get one in six months. Even better if it had a cho on it, because I think they are awesome and good for combat. But that is info from a knife fighter.
