hey folks.. the misses and a few of her friends were going on a hike today.. so BOOMSTICK, my little dude Cypress and I, decided to tag along.. after a while, us boys ended up parting ways with the ladies and found a nice spot next to the creek, to relax and hang out.. it was a lot of fun.. we brought some grub and ate for a bit and then BOOMSTICK and I, played with some knives while the little dude ran a muck...

anyhow, here is some pics.. this is Fall Creek state park.. it's an amazing spot, definitely one of our favorite's...

i am really loving my BCNW-01 knife.. this thing has become a favorite of mine in such a short time... the thumb scallop's are super comfortable.. here it is in the chest lever grip..

the scandi grind is insanely sharp.. it sliced and cut these hazel stocks with ease...

Great pics! Looks like a relaxing day. I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying that BCNW as much as I enjoy mine!
 
Nice wet pics Mike.. You should ask Boomstick if he wants to come to the hammer in/get together next week. I think stingray is coming too.

Pit- i really like the Woolrich Alaskan shirt.. it is a nice blend of a shirt/lightweight jacket.. they run a bit big too, this one is a Med. and was still on the big side. i did a little controlled shrinking in the wash/dryer and it fits perfectly now..

thanks for the kind words Doc.. yes it is redwood sorrel.. the stuff is everywhere...:)
 
great pics mike, looks like an awesome area. Like that knife too, I need to get a higher end scandi.
 
Great pics. I love being in the bush just after rain. Everything smells fresher.
Nice tipi and knife. I think that BCNW is on my wish list now.
