I got a few photos today, I have lots of knives getting close this week! Here are a few of them...

I also worked on the Damascus batch today but those pics were too dark... I'm close to the final pics on most of them anyways! :D

.25 Titanium! I have a couple coming up in this style. I just did the cord wrap and got a pic, the wrap still needs some work.

Big credit to Lycosa for the design inspiration! This is a variation of his design. The other Ti tanto I have coming up is Hartsfield inspired. :D

Thanks! I'm really excited to have found the .25" Ti for sale, I have been looking for over a year and thought thicker Ti (under 1") didn't exist. They feel cool in the hand., solid but light.

I'm having a lot of fun this year with everything, seeing a design turn to life or just winging a new idea is always a blast.

Please, oh please, make something left handed!

Honestly, it'd just be simpler if you'd do one lefty in each batch. :D

Cool stuff. Better make that 2 leftys!

Alright!

Lefty grinds are cool, I am right handed and they are ground with the right hand holding the handle. It was tough for me to get the righty chisel down at first and my first few were left handed as it worked better!

If Pohan evolved in his grinding, so will you Daniel. :D

You're talking about those crazy knives that are ground like wedges right... double ground they call them? I saw one once!

44^ U getting one?
Thanks for the pix Daniel.
Po showed me some of his early work and it was as expected but he got on to mastering that grinder fast. You told me you're not that good at grinding. Wheely?? :D

Hey I just get lucky most of the time... :D

That Ti was really tough, I had to set it down and come back the next day. It is super tough yet smears around so it is very tricky to grind.

Those are somewhat early but I have only been making knives for just over 2 years now. I'm not sure if the pics really show it but the grinds are very even. I kind of wish the end of that cleaver was ground smoother though! I redid that sheath too if I recall correctly. :D

The reason I don't do as many double grinds is that I don't like them as much as chisel grinds. Growing up I had a couple of chisel ground knives and always liked the performance, the planing action cuts so aggressively. I want to do more lefty chisel grinds so everyone can have that kind of performance. More short zero bevels too, they don't look impressive but they cut impressively!

But I know you know that as a fan of them too! Chisel grinds just make sense to me.

Thanks Daniel!
Have you chatted with William Nease about grinding Ti. Willy has it down.
