That looks like a well thought out and executed design. Wish I had a mill, I have to do it the hard way.

I noticed you don't have a knifemaker memebership. The rules of the forum are pretty clear. If you want to post your work, and sell it here, you need to buy a knifemaker membership. It's not all that expensive, and I believe with your skill level you would do well here. I hope to see more of your work posted soon.:)

Well I do appreciate your concerns but I have already had a meeting with Kevin and our sub forum is being setup. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Contrary to what some people believe about cnc, mills don't make the knife, they cut out parts, the hands do the rest. Todd has hand shaped knives his entire career, long before he had a CNC he used a manual mill and pioneered techniques that baffled the most discriminating critics of CNC mills and left them wondering how he did it. For instance this knife was made by with a manual mill and a week and a half of hand work. Out of respect for Spark the title of the magazine has been left out.

Are you an agent representing a maker? If so, it would be nice to state that.

I am Todd's brother and business partner. I was instrumental in expanding Todd's custom knife making business to a 5000 square shop with a handful of well picked artisans who trained with Todd for the last year to reproduce Todd's designs, so that we could make them available for people who always wanted a Todd Begg knife and couldn't wait 6 years to get one. The video below should sum it up.

I'll echo Jay Goliath's question. Out of curosity, what steel are you using for the blade? And it does look nice. Different, which is cool.

People that think it is so easy to run a CNC I challenge them to write a program that elaborate and not crash the machine. Still better yet do it on a manual mill. Props to the man I know how much work that is. Can't wait to see the finished product.

The steel is Bohler powdered 440C, we are sponsored by Bohler and Carpenter-Specialty metals and are proud to be using both of these companies advanced steel technologies.
