Here's one of the gems of the Blade Show 2008 IMHO, something I commissioned from Todd a while back, and while I knew it was going to be delivered at Blade, I was floored when Tanya handed it to me in the Pit Friday night!!

Copper-Niobium inserts in a Ti Framed Glimpse, with Damascus Blade and IKBS. This thing flips so fast and smooth, you don't even see the blade move. This is one of those knives you just have to feel to believe! Trust me when I say my photos do not do this knife justice.

Thanks to Todd for what I feel is one of your best knives yet! :D:thumbup:

I'm smiling two times! :D :D

The Glimpse somehow gets better and better and better. Todd, you are tweaking them to perfection. The inlay is a wonderful area for exploration, and this Niobium composite is a perfect example.

Dwayne, I am glad for you.

I am also impressed with your work, but not surprised. Such a dramatic 'look' with the clean lighting and clear visuals. That 'ice' texturing is hard to capture, but you got it. A wonderful compliment to Todd's work.

Nice. Twice.

Great looking knife. Perhaps my favorite Begg so far.

I can see why you would be floored when it was handed to you.

Congrats,
Peter

Todd just gets better and better! I think his designs are so refreshing amid way too many cookie cutter blades. Duane, you have a knack of being able to bring some of the best out of makers, congratulations.

That is one of the coolest Glimpses I have EVER seen!! That is one amazing score!!

That is just drop dead gorgeous! Congrats on a beautiful knife. One of the best I've seen.

wow, really really nice. i love the color contrast and the really deep etch on the blade with the hand rubbed bevels is a REALLY classy touch.

I think even Les with his ubiquitous dislike for copper would look upon that one favorably

I'm not huge on the Glimpses but that one is off the hook. Best looking one I've seen to date. Congrats.

Amazing upgrade to a beautiful design!!

All the best,

Thanks Win, but all I did was provide an idea and supply some materials...Todd is the craftsman here, he deserves all the glory.
