Hi!

Good images, the knife itself - to be honest - is not my cup of tea. The mix of styles somehow doesn't cut it for me. Just personal preference though and I wish you a lot of success with it.

Regards,
Alex

You post on Todd's website's blog. Are you his production manager? Any finished knives to be seen? Are these new offerings in his "semi-custom" line?

I am Todd's brother Mark and his business partner. Right now these are custom's by Todd but we are working on production versions for here but mainly the European market due to the fact in many places there this is the only kind of folder you can carry. Friction folders are not for everybody, here anyway but overseas they are an essential. We are working on lot,s of new things, stay posted on our website blog to see the happenings. We will be posting most here as well.

Interesting take on the friction folder idea. :) It would be nice to see a blade fully open in the handle - will the forefinger sit in the blade choil?

Can you give some information? Steels, handle options, How about a finished one too?

Hey Bruce, 3 of the blades are Rob Thomas stainless damascus and 3 are CPM 154 stainless an some of the handles are carbon fiber and some titanium and the inlays are yet to be decided. Always love your stuff Bruce.

Thanks Mark, Looking forward to everything you two are doing.

Like all of Todd's work, I find them clever and expertly finished.

Will he have finished versions at the ECCKS? Love to see.

Nephilim Killer.... errrr, Mark, will YOU be at the ECCKS? :)

Coop

Hey Mark, were you at Todd's table at the ECCKS last fall? I think I may have met you. I'm actually wearing the T shirt I got at the table right now. Are you guys going to be at the NYCKS in March?

I like the looks of the friction folder. The combination of the flipper and the thumb rest is very interesting. I'm assuming that these won't be utilizing IKBS? Willthere be a few different options for the inlays?
