My mission:
To find three knives from a custom maker that covered my individual knife needs for EDC, backup/detail work and light camping. His name is Todd Rexford and here's why I picked him:
-He has an engineering degree that shines through in his well-thought out designs, tight tolerances and meticulous attention to detail. Even his Kydex sheaths are "just right" in every way. I've never had a sheath fit so well...
-His super clean lines and reserved artistic leanings (ie- not gaudy or flamboyant) are just what I was looking for.
-And his work reminds me of my other favorite maker.....Ray Laconico...who is extremely awesome as well.
I already posted pics of the Differential folder but here it is again....
Super Tight!!
Next is the Resonance neck knife w/ Carbon Fiber and G-10 scales. Rookie lanyard by me. This little guy is like a scalpel on steroids.
And third is the Differential fixed blade. Very similar to the folder, but a tiny bit smaller in the handle (still fits my hand perfectly) as well as the blade. This fits my needs as a camp knife in that:
-It's big enough to do almost anything I need it to.
-It's small enough to not take up too much real eastate, be too heavy or get caught-up on branches.......love it!
Group shot!!
Thanks for looking...and a big thank you to Todd for making just fantastic @$%$ knives that take a beating and beg to be used!!
