Todd Combs of Shade Tree Phenolics has been sending me some really high quality denim/canvas/carbon fibre lately. He also included a set of fiberglas(with day-glo powder in the green resin) scales to put on the PAK he'd ordered. Interesting stuff...it grinds just like G-10 but it's lighter in weight. I normally use orange G-10 on this knife since I want it to be highly visible if dropped, but this color combo works also. The specs on the knife itself are:
Blade: 4 1/4" flatground/distal tapered/convex edged. Steel is 1/8 inch 154CM cryo'd by D'Holder to a 59/60 Rc.
Handle: Todds fiberglas in yellow/orange/green. Stainless loveless bolts.
OAL: 9 inches and weight is 6.1 oz.
Sheath: 8/10 oz veggie tanned bridle leather. Antique stain..saddle stitched with welt. Waterproofed with sno-seal.

Nice looking knife Joel, and no doubt of your usual excellent quality. I loved the review Dannyboy wrote of his PCT trek with one of your PAK knives. That hand filed saw must take a substantial amount of time.

Top shelf as always Joel.
Its refreshing to see an outdoor knife that isn't as thick as a railroad track.
:D
