Long ago, I traded and got a Benchmade Adamas. This knife was my favorite folder of all time, everything about it made me happy. Fantastic folder that was bomb proof with a tough steel. But then I traded it for an S35VN Paramilitary 2. Great trade, but something was missing in my heart. My Adamas.

So, for months, I've been waiting for a chance to get her back. So I recently contacted the man who I traded it to, and we worked out a deal. The Adamas was waiting in my mailbox today, and when I saw the box I was happier than a little kid on Christmas. I still am, a half an hour later. :D

First thing we did was play in the snow.....

:D:D:D:D:D

Congratulations, CJZ!

As a side note: coincidental my first Adamas was in the mail today too (the more "Sheeple" friendly one with the Sand-colored scales) ... I understand how you feel, have it for 3 hours now and cannot stand it being more than a foot away from me yet :D

"reunited and it feels so good"....

Nice to see your Adams likes snow, a knife like that deserves to play in the snow every once and awhile! Nothing like getting your actual knife back! Just wouldn't be the same with a diff Adams.

Funny enough, I traded away my Adamas not so long ago too. It was an amazing knife, but it just didn't fit my tiny hands. My new Hogue Ex-04 wharncliffe has taken its place nicely. I still miss the Adamas every now and again.

That's even better than Lassie making it back home.........or was it Rin-Tin-Tin........or does anyone even know what I'm talking about?

Anyway, congrats on getting the Adamas back. That is one of the best buy's BM has put out in a long time, plus giving back to our servicemen is just fantastic!:)
