RJD posted a thread (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=399339) a couple months ago that I really enjoyed. I thought I would offer my two favorites in reply, but I wanted to wait because I still had a couple knives coming and wanted to include them.
This is that reply.
After Jerry's stuff, my interests are currently very focused on Tom Krein's lineup (http://www.kreinknives.net/kk_products.htm). I think his work is exceptionally clean and well made. His patterns are reminiscent of Dozier (where he got his start in the business) and the blades are unbelievably sharp. He mostly works with D2, although some A2, 3V and S30V find their ways into his hands occasionally.
Here is a picture of my Krein blades, with appropriate counterparts from my Busse collection. The TK-1 shoud really be paired with an AS, but I traded mine away for a PR...
