I went to the Guild Show on Saturday. What an event! I wish there was one every week. I finally got to meet Tom Anderson and his knives. Couldn't ask for a nicer guy. We went over all his models and I ended up getting one I've wanted for awhile....DAMASTEEL Man-o-War. I wish I could have bought all the knives he had with him.

IMHO his knives stole the show. The designs are radical and well thought out. For the most part, the folders at the show were all pretty similar. They were all nice, but maybe a bit stale. Mr. Anderson's knives really stood out. I will go broke soon so I figured I would write this before I can't pay the light bill.

Tom does make cool looking knives, ordered one from him just by looking at the photos.....I'll second that he is a very nice guy as well, we had a great conversation. Sounds like a real sweet knife you bought, enjoy it.

I'm looking forward to meeting Tom and seeing his knives at the NY Custom knife show. :D

Tom is a super conscientious knifemaker and a great guy. You cant go wrong getting one of his knives.

Tom is a great guy and makes really sweet blades. I have 2 :) He was gracious enough to bring me to his shop and show me how he makes a fixed blade, and even made one from my own design! Very cool warnie blade. And I attended his Folder-In last August, and won the raffle knife, a Howler with BG-42 and the anodized Ti Tom is getting known for. Incredibly smooooth knife. It goes in my pocket when i need a nice Oh Ah knife :)

I also met Tom at the Guild Show. I found his knives to be VERY well made. Tom pays attention to the smallest details. The pivots are ultra smooth, lockup is perfect and the blades are SHARP!!! To describe them in one word, I would say FLAWLESS!!!

Tom's also a nice guy too :)

Got to handle a few a couple of years ago. Well made with style. Still do not know which I like better Tom or his knives :). That is a combination I always look for. :D

I met Tom a couple of times at the NY shows. I can second all the above comments on the man and his knives.

The Nov. NY Custom Knife Show will be here in a few months. Where is my checkbook??

Thanks, everyone. :)

Many of the changes in my knives over the past year are a result of what I've learned on the forums. It's great to know how much people appreciate this evolution.

I hope to see many of you in N.Y.C. in November, where I'll be unveiling my new line of frame-locks. It should be an exiting show! :D

FrAmE LoCkS?!?!?!?! Yikes!!!

I tried a couple folders, a lock back and a slipjoint. Ummm. Neither worked :D
