Here is the deal; I ordered this knife from Larry C. at Knifeart only to discover that two other knives were also ready. Too many at once! The Rhino was already on the way as was a Brend/Cutter DA. A Terzoula ATCF with ti bolsters and G-10 handles along with a true 4" blade is due tomorrow. I had decide to return the Rhino since I really wanted the Brend and the Terzoula. So that is the situation.
Today UPS delivers both packages as I expected. I opened the Brend/Cutter and was just blown away by the precision of it. Well, happy as a pig in slop, I opened the Anderson Rhino in order to repackage and ship back. Of course I had to take a look and it was then that i was truely BLOWN AWAY! If the Brend is precise, and it is
then the Tom Anderson is precision to another degree!

I've talked about fit and finish in a knife but Tom takes it an extra step. Little things like a three-pronged design on the thumb stud, pivot bolt and pivot screw, three longitudinal grooves on the clip, and a clip that is groud at 45 degrees to match the bolster. The two rear spacers are grooved steel or titanium. The side plates are .125 titanium plates that have nicely, almost wood grained, contured G-10 overlays on them. The liner lock is inlaid into the titanium frame and done with total precision. There is not an unneseccary gap ANYWHERE! The blade is BG42 and sharp as a razor. Everything works so smoothly on this folder that I just can't believe it. I know I sound like a little kid but man this fellow knows how to do a knife up right!!:D  :D

The Brend? Afraid I had to send it back.........no way was the Anderson going anywhere except my pocket!!!

......................YET! You can go to www.knifeart.com and see it. It is an exclusive design of Larry C. This is some more knife. After sleeping on it last night I woke up this morning and...............nothing had changed my mind! :D  :D

Even the most beautiful advertising photos do not do these knives justice.

Precision is something you need to handle and go over with a fine tooth comb.

Lucky you had the two simultaneously to draw a distinction!
