Tom Ball?

Anyone know anything about a knife maker by the name of Tom Ball? I have a little damascus dagger coming from BladeArt but don't know a thing about Tom. I'm mainly interested in what steels he uses to make his Damascus. Larry said he picked up the knife in Chicago if that helps any.
