are these removable? i`m looking at having mine replaced when i get the knife . anybody know? are they handle screws or rivets?

i ask because i`m getting one in january , and in march or april its going to a knifemaker to have the handle scales replaced with ringed gidgee wood , and a custom leather back sheath . if the scales just screw on he can do it.

Can you tell me about the design, what all the edges are for, and why it is shaped like it is?

I still don't understand that knife.

Sirgalant is in Australia might be a bit far for him.
We have plenty of talented knife makers over here, I think he has some one lined up to do the work.
