Tom Brown Tracker

Welcome aboard the forums :)
Intersting first post about a bit of a controversial/unconventional knife design.
Nice to see more people interested in the wsk/tracker style knives, I love mine!
You'll find lots of haters of the design, but there's also a bunch of wsk lovers :)

Smooth scales have less chance of causing hot spots when using the knife longer on any knife I think.
No personal exoerience in using the TB Tracker for extended periods of time though.
Try to handle one if that's possible, there's different trackers out there, some might fit your hand better than other.

I have a Red Scorpion 6 Raven WSK that has a more ergonomic handle compared to the TB Tracker imho.

Thank you knoefz. I like the Red Scorpion 6. Wish TOPS still offered the leather sheath similar to the one that comes with the red scorpion tracker

I like the smooth handles. I tried similar filed/contoured handles on one knife that I owned and sold it right off. Too much potential for hot spots for my taste. Others swear by them!

It's a "What's your flavor of ice cream" kind of thing!

If you get a Tracker sand want a nice leather sheath, check into Mike Bartol. He made me one that was fantastic for like $80!

Good luck on your search!
