Tom Ferry is one of those guys who seems to fly under the radar, even though I'm sure most people recognize his name. He is a real "renaissance man" - Forging (Damascus), fixed blades, folders, engraving and even "inventions" (most of you know his involvement in Timascus and the Everflush slip joint innovation)

As part of my recent visit to Coop, I had him work his magic on this beautiful double edged fighter:

Once again, I really think Coop nailed it - "As close as you can get without being there"

This knife is just so "clean" and the engraving adds an edge ;)

I think you can just make out that the pins are actually little skulls as well !

Boy, those "northwest boys" really have it going on :D

Terriffic piece! Not a fan of skulls, myself (I like his dragons!), but he does them well!

Bsides being one heck of an artisan, he's one heck of a gentleman, too... Have always been honored to do business with him and have really appreciated the growth in his skill sets!

This is a top notch Bowie/fighter.
Tom has mentored me in Damascus and I,ve always looked up to him.

He might fly low but he sure flies fast! ;) :D

His Japanese-themed, engraved folders are amongst my all time favorite custom knives.

I have been awed by his work in the pictures I have seen. This one keeps with the trend of awesome. Toms Damascus is as good as it gets. You have a real treasure there.

Bill thanks for showing this I did not get a chance to get a real good look at it at this years Ace show at lest I think thats where you got this one

Wow, SO many cool knives posted lately - this honey included. Congrats Bill!

I've admired Tom's work for a while now. He does some really COOL work and VERY creative engraving.

AWESOME knife Bill. CONGRATS!

Peter

I don't think I've ever encountered one of Tom's knives that I wasn't just amazed by. He's the REAL DEAL no matter how you slice it! Another excellent piece, Bill! Thanks for letting us have a look!

Very nice! Beautiful damascus, very nice wood, and the engraving complements the knife real good, without being "overpowering".

Kind regards,

Jos
