Tom krein made this fighter for me. Tom, as some of you might know, was the shop foreman for Dozier knives before going out on his own. Still uses D2 and still has Bob Dozier do the heat treat. This one only has a 6" cutting edge, but seems so much bigger, since the handle is big enough for anybody. Green canvas micarta slabs. The grinds are perfect(or, as perfect as a human can get), and the fit and finish is superb. Great kydex sheath too. This guy is good, folks.

Here's the other side. This knife balances perfectly, and feels like it weighs next to nothing in your hand. And, talk about a great feeling knife in the reverse grip!

No, the clip on this particular knife is not sharpened. However, the next one(same knife, only with 8" cutting edge) will have a sharp top edge.

Nice blade, Danbo - I really like the looks of it.

Jim Keating was sporting a couple of Tom's blades, and a trainer Tom had made, at the Riddle of Steel, got to see them up-close a little, very nice work.

Yep. When I was at Tom's shop Friday, I saw a few blades laying around, ready to finish. Rumor has it, those might be headed to Mr. Keating. ;)

Of course, this is only rumor, and is not substantiated by any fact. ;) :D

As much as I like this knife I do believe that I would prefer it with an 8" or 9" blade. Make sure you give us a peek at that 8" version you are getting.

Does Tom have a website?

Nathan ,

I was thinking the same thing.
