Hello,

I've heard and seen lots about Tom Krein and his regrinds. I called the telephone number he has on his web sight, but he never returned my call. Does anyone know of a sure way to contact him so I can get some work done?

I'll tell ya.....Tom is getting a LOT of knives ready for the USN Gathering in two weeks, and really won't be working on much else until that is over...try about a week after that, and you should be able to reach him.

I saw him a few weeks ago at the AG Russell Knife Event in Springdale, and he said he was covered up. His regrinds are top of the line if you can get hold of him. Otherwise, make a trip to Gentry, AR. His shop is right downtown....if there is a downtown in Gentry....you know it's down where the hoot owls chase the chickens in redneck Arkansas. While you're in the area, drop in on AG's showroom, a trip work making.

It was over a month ago, and his message said he would call back. He never did. I know people get busy, but courtesy is courtesy. I'm in Arizona so a little to far to visit, even if it would be a nice idea, to visit a nice state.
 
I know he prefers to be called. I would try again as I called him about 2 weeks ago and got right through. He is getting quite popular and busy as others have stated, I'm sure he's just overwhelmed at the moment. Nice guy to talk to.
 
He was on vacation a while back, plus he has been busy as hell as others have said. The guy is human, he may have forgetten to call you. Just call him back and if you don't get right through then I can just about guarantee you'll hear from him within a day or two. Tom is a great guy who always takes the time to talk to his customers, you should give him the benefit of the doubt.

I guess I'm just in a bad mood today. I was indeed planning on calling him again, but thought you guys might have some insight on the best way to reach him. The problem for me, was that I missed out on a unique opportunity to buy a great knife. I only wanted the knife if I could get a regrind done. Since I couldn't verify with Tom that he would do it, I missed out on the knife. I do have a BM that I'd like to talk to him about now, so I'll try calling him again.

No worries saw....Tom is one great guy that will hook U up

But like said here,there is this big show coming up
Here is his cell 479-233-0508 perhaps leave a message,but be patient I can vouch for Tom,he will get you squared away.A very busy guy though.
