Got it done as a birthday present to myself, and I couldn't be more pleased. Before the re-grind, it was a good SD knife, but a lousy EDC, with very little slicing capability due to the saber-hollow grind. Now its great at both! One of my top 5 folders for sure.

Tom Krein is the man, well worth the $35 for the regrind. This knife went from being one of my worst slicers, to being a hair whittling, Darth Vader style lightsaber

Is the handle "skate tape"? Or, "Anti Skid", Non-Skid", as we sometimes called it. Just curious.

As for the blade, if that's what you requested, I'd say you got it in spades. That's a mean "Mater Slicer" right there!
