Tom Williams: How many of these?

A question for Mr. Williams for anyone else here. There is a knife on EBay, of which I have one. I'll put a link to it here, but I can simply describe it as a regular old Camillus #1 pruning knife with fancy etching on the blade: Official Redneck. If I believe the item description, this was a limited release due to political incorrectness, true? And just how many were released for sale to the public? Appreciate any help. I went back through the forums and saw this question asked once before, but it must have gotten missed.

I will have some information on this knife next week.

Thank you, Mr. Williams. I bought my knife at a flea Market (here in Florida) about three years ago. I just left it in the box and tossed it in my gun safe. Took it out when I saw the listing for another on Ebay. Appreciate the effort.

This knife is a model #1 Hawkbill Pruner. National Knife Distributors offered this knife in 1994-1995 and 1,000 were made. As to the Ebay listing regarding "political incorrectness" and only a limited amount of these knives were offered, I can not verify this claim. I have,
however, seen many Ebay knife listings with descriptions intended to enhance the value of an item by implying that only a few were ever made.
