Tomahawak throwing standard?

Sorry if this is a double, or even triple post, but is there a standard target size and distance for tomahawk throwing?
 
I'm used to starting ranges from 5-8 paces, depending on who was sponsoring the throwing competition back when I did the rendezvous thing. (dress up in funny clothes and shoot black powder rifles -- ah, those were the days!)
 
Well, that's kinda why I ask. Friendship, IN has a throwing competition and I've set up a target. I'd like to train as I fight so to speak.
 
talk to the folks putting it on and ask what ranges they'll throw at?
