I call this a survival / defense tomahawk. much lighter and faster than a regular hatchet. its 12" long with a 3 1/4" cutting edge. the blank was profiled and heat treated by bladeforums member jarod todd of jt knives. its .265" thick 80CrV2 steel with a satin scotchbrite finish. note the tapered tang. G10 handle with G10 red liners. loveless handle bolts, wicket and craig leather sheath with belt loop and removable/adjustable length shoulder strap. thanks for looking. john
