Ok, the title might seem a little confusing, but what I'm looking for is what people think they could substitute for a tomahawk (doesn't necessarily have to be readily available) in a combat situation, but still get use out of their tomahawk training.

For example: if a ball-peen hammer would be a pretty good substitute for a tomahawk, and most people have one somewhere around the house.

Others (and their likely locations):

Sickle - with other gardening tools
Metal "T"-square - with other woodworking tools
Kama - martial arts dojo (or personal training room)

Anybody else got some creative replacements?

Chuck Norris

It depends what you are using it for. A hammer cant chop down a tree, as s true for the other items you listed.

take a look at the swiss army world war II shovel - it is a wicked entrenching tool. Found a place that had them for $15.00 and I got a couple of them.
