December 15th and 16th - two weeks from now!!!

Wingate Inn - Indianapolis Airport
5797 Rockville Road
Indianapolis, IN 46224 US

This two-day class will be conducted indoors, in the comfortable facilities of Wingate's 1200 sq. ft. conference room. ATC will be providing Vietnam Tomahawk Trainers and will have samples of various Hawks and carry systems there.

We will be happy to coordinate your lodging reservations if coming from out of town...to register for class, drop me an e-mail.

Class is $250 per student, and CJ Caracci will administer all training for both days, personally. Lodging and meal costs are additional, at the expense of the registrant.

We expect registration this weekend to be robust so don't delay!

Feel free to ask questions here or off-line via e-mail. We are awaiting a few small details to be worked out with the Wingate, and we will confirm all arrangements with you privately on Monday.

See you in Indy!!!

....I just had to answer a question about a course outline in CJ's Urban Jungle Forum, so I thought I would cut and paste it for everyone's benefit here....someone asked about what the course covers...here was my response.

------

All of CJ's material emphasizes fundamentals...fundamentals which are equally applied to empty-hand, knife, Tomahawk :D, Firearms, Alternative Force, Hostage Barricading, ...and the list goes on.

In a Tomahawk specific seminar, the fundamentals are "passed on" (...CJ prefers this to "teaching", as it is as much a learning experience for him as it is for the students) with particular emphasis to their application with a Tomahawk.

This two-day course will cover the following areas with great specificity, in the order outlined below:

Human Orientation: human physiology and its inherent operating characteristics in a "life and death" encounter.

Mental Awareness: pre-existing levels of self awareness and environmental awareness...potential beyond self imposed limits

Mental Conditioning: Awareness development techniques, fear management...

Fundamental Fighting Skills: applied principles of Human Orientation

Tomahawk Introduction: weapon functionality, design characteristics

Tomahawk Techniques: Grips, Blocks, Strikes

Tomahawk Drills: Tomahawk vs. Empty Hand, Tomahawk vs. Knife, Tomahawk vs. WHATEVER :)

Advanced Tomahawk Drills: Tomahawk/Knife Combination, Fighting Multiple Opponents, Non-Lethal Restraining, training associations to other CQB instruments for personal training

I'll also invite those who attended the first seminar here in New Jersey to share their experiences if they would....

Hope this helps!

Wow!!! at last, I'll be there, Count Me IN!!!

Thanks Andy,

If anyone needs info about INDY, directions, ride from the airport, or whatever - e-mail me and I'll see what I can do.

Marion David Poff - Come to Sunny Indy - I'll even put you up if need be - I'd love to swap knife, Tomahawk, Idaho stories with you anyway.

:D

I wont't be able to make this one, I am helping my brother move in to my place.....

But, if it can work out next time, that sounds great.

Wish I could be out there! Bummer...

You guys are in for a great ride! Don't just listen to what CJ says. watch how he moves. And when. Absorb the teaching on an instinct level, not just an intellectual level. CJ has a way of passing along the energy and attitude of a warrior, as well as the skills. It's great to receive that -- his confidence is contagious!

You're also lucky to get two days on the seminar -- damn!

Whether you are experienced or a beginner, you will get a lot of the workshop -- CJ teaches to all levels simultaneously.

Best,

Brian.

Barry W...I received your e-mail, but for some reason my responses keep getting returned undelivered. Please give me a call at the toll free number below so we can get you squared away for the class.

Thanks!!!

Try & Make this One!! If you can get here, I'll put you up if need be. Then I'll show you those Top Secret Prototype Hawks - May even get CJ to 'show us some moves" with them".

Thanks for your very generous offer, Sarge. I would definitely make it if I could. As it is, I'll be out of the country from tomorrow through the 18th.

As to those "Top Secret Prototype Hawks", maybe we can work out an info exchange after I get back. Chris showed me how to tie his famous lanyard at last month's NY show. Amazingly, I can not only tie it but I think I might even be able to explain how to do it.

Woah Dude, I thought that you might be one of of those cloak & dagger types in the CIA, ABC or maybe even the dreaded EOF (Extremely Old Farts). Be Careful "Over There".

Brian!!! Get with me off line about publishing a HOW TO post on the Caracci Lanyard! That would be cool!

Sure thing, Andy. I'm currently in Shanghai & head to Xi'an tomorrow. I'll get with you after I return.
