New member here; figured I should show off something to introduce myself. I found an old roofing hammer stuck in a tree a while back. After a quick trip to the grinder and the addition of a new handle, I had myself a pretty nice tomahawk. The grip is hickory, covered in sued scraps from a ripped welding glove. Not sure what kind of steel it is but it's hard as hell.

Thanks: I've been considering doing something more ornate with the grip, maybe wrapping the bottom third of it with leather cord or something like that. I carry this with me on camping trips and sometimes hikes, as well as reenacting trips, it comes in handy almost as much as my leatherman.
