Tomahawk

I bought this in the early 70's and was suppose to be a Vietnam Tomahawk, don't remember where or how much but just out of high school it could not of been much money. Found it in a box I had in storage and curious about it. Real, reproduction or fake, can't see any marks on it (don't know where to look) because of the rust and did not want to clean it till I find out some thing about it

It looks like two I still have. I bought them super cheap from a catalog (Atlanta Cutlery?). I'm sure they were by United Cutlery. Handles broke easily, and the whole thing was easily lost in the woods. I painted my heads with aluminum paint and the handles with red. The heads were black originally.
It definitely isn't "the" Vietnam t'hawk, but it throws fine. I never tried chopping with one.
