Tomahawks? - Australia customs

Same thing happened to me with the SOG version.

As far as customs, if the seller puts camping tool, axe etc on it when it sends you should be ok.

Anything that has throwing (associated with it) will be confiscated.

That being said they make it up as they go and what is fine with one inspector, is "illegal" to another...

I'd say you'd be ok but the previous post may have diminished your interest..

Good luck either way...

I've imported twenty or so tomahawks over the years and never had any problems (including the Sayoc/Winkler hawk, the Emerson CQC-t, the Shrike). Most though did have camping tool on the invoice. As pap11y said, if they have "throwing" anywhere on the paperwork, customs will likely take it.

I don't sell my gear, but when I mail it I label it "Metal Sculpture" or something like it.
I get creative. Honest, but creative.

When I was buying S30v from the Crucible outlet in Arlington and mailing it to a friend in Virginia I remember labeling it "Steel for Machinery"

Just some good honest ideas.
Gotta use what freewill we have left in our Nanny States.
The Toilet Safety Administration (TSA) is right around the corner.
